Welcome to Beauty in Little Things.
The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Beauty in Little Things. We operate this website and online store, including the information, content, features, products, and services offered through it.
Beauty in Little Things is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to offer our products and services to you.
These Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced in them, describe your rights and responsibilities when you visit our website, purchase a product, begin a subscription, or otherwise use our services.
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or purchase our products.
SECTION 1 - ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
By using this website, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state of residence or that you have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information when placing an order, including your email address, billing information, payment information, and shipping address.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of any customer account and for activity performed through that account.
SECTION 2 - OUR PRODUCTS
A Letter from Dana is a physical monthly mailing created for women navigating breast cancer. Each envelope may include a written letter, paper pieces, artwork, printed materials, or another small item. Contents may vary from month to month.
Product photographs, illustrations, examples, and descriptions are provided to help represent the general nature and style of the product. Colors, scale, paper appearance, and other details may vary based on printing, materials, availability, lighting, and screen settings.
Because the contents change, an individual mailing may not contain every type of item shown in product photographs or previous examples.
We reserve the right to update product descriptions, materials, contents, pricing, and availability at any time. We may also limit quantities or discontinue a product.
SECTION 3 - HEALTH AND MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
Beauty in Little Things does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, or crisis services.
The letters, website content, printed pieces, and other materials are intended to offer encouragement, companionship, and personal reflection. They are not a substitute for professional medical care, mental health care, or advice from a qualified healthcare provider.
Always seek appropriate professional help for medical or mental health concerns.
SECTION 4 - ORDERS
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted after payment has been successfully processed and we have confirmed the order.
We reserve the right to decline, limit, correct, or cancel an order when necessary, including in cases involving suspected fraud, inaccurate pricing, incorrect product information, payment issues, product unavailability, or misuse of the website.
Please review all information carefully before completing checkout. This includes the selected product, subscription term, billing information, email address, recipient name, and mailing address.
If we need to contact you about an order, we will use the information provided during checkout.
SECTION 5 - MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTIONS
Monthly subscriptions are billed automatically on the first day of each month using the payment method on file.
To avoid the next monthly charge, cancellation must be completed by the 25th of the preceding month.
Canceling a monthly subscription stops future renewals. It does not cancel or refund a payment that has already been processed.
A cancellation also does not stop a mailing that has already entered processing, including printing, assembly, preparation, or mailing.
All monthly subscription payments are final and nonrefundable, except where required by law or when a charge was processed in error by Beauty in Little Things.
Customers are responsible for keeping their payment method, email address, and mailing address current.
Additional cancellation information is provided in our Purchase Options Cancellation Policy.
SECTION 6 - ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS
Annual subscriptions are prepaid in one payment and include twelve monthly mailings.
Annual subscriptions do not renew automatically.
Annual subscription payments are final and nonrefundable, except where required by law or when a charge was processed in error by Beauty in Little Things.
The remaining letters included in the purchased term will continue to be mailed to the address on file.
Annual subscribers may also receive a birthday note or small surprise during the subscription term. The exact item may vary.
SECTION 7 - GIFT SUBSCRIPTIONS
Gift subscriptions are available in prepaid three-month, six-month, and twelve-month terms.
Gift subscriptions do not renew automatically.
Gift subscription payments are final and nonrefundable, except where required by law or when a charge was processed in error by Beauty in Little Things.
The purchaser may provide a personal message to be included in the recipient’s first envelope. The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the message is accurate, appropriate, and lawful.
We reserve the right not to print or include content that is threatening, discriminatory, obscene, unlawful, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate.
The purchaser must provide the recipient’s correct name and mailing address. The purchaser should use their own email address for order confirmations and order-related communication unless another arrangement is clearly provided during checkout.
A twelve-month gift subscription may include a birthday note or small surprise during the gift term.
SECTION 8 - PRICES AND PAYMENT
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Prices, promotions, and discounts may change without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at checkout when the order is placed.
Applicable taxes and shipping charges, if any, will be shown during checkout.
You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted and that the payment information is accurate.
If a recurring subscription payment cannot be processed, the subscription provider or payment processor may attempt the charge again, request updated payment information, pause the subscription, or cancel it according to its procedures.
SECTION 9 - SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Beauty in Little Things currently ships within the United States only.
Mailing dates and delivery estimates are not guarantees. Delivery may be affected by postal delays, weather, holidays, incorrect addresses, forwarding, carrier disruptions, or other circumstances outside our control.
Customers and gift purchasers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate mailing address.
Please contact us promptly if an order contains an incorrect address. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered processing.
If a mailing appears to be lost, damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, contact us at hello@beautyinlittlethings.com so we can review the circumstances and arrange any applicable replacement or correction according to our Shipping Policy.
SECTION 10 - RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND CANCELLATIONS
All sales are final and nonrefundable, except where required by law or when a charge was processed in error by Beauty in Little Things.
Canceling a monthly subscription stops future renewals but does not refund a payment that has already been processed.
Annual subscriptions and gift subscriptions are prepaid and do not renew automatically.
Returns, replacements, billing errors, and subscription cancellations are governed by our Return and Refund Policy and Purchase Options Cancellation Policy.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be limited under applicable consumer-protection law.
SECTION 11 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Beauty in Little Things name, logo, website copy, letters, original written content, printed materials, designs, graphics, photographs, illustrations, product concepts, and arrangement of website content are owned by Beauty in Little Things or used with permission.
You may use purchased materials for personal, noncommercial purposes.
You may not reproduce, publish, sell, distribute, scan, upload, share, modify, create derivative products from, or commercially exploit our materials without prior written permission.
Artwork or other material credited to third parties remains the property of its respective owner and may be subject to separate rights or license terms.
SECTION 12 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND TOOLS
We may use third-party services to operate the website and fulfill orders, including Shopify, subscription-management providers, payment processors, email providers, analytics services, shipping services, and other technology providers.
Your use of some features may also be subject to the terms and privacy practices of those providers.
We are not responsible for third-party websites, products, services, content, or practices that we do not control.
SECTION 13 - RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
Beauty in Little Things is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to offer our products and services.
Purchases made through this store are transactions directly between you and Beauty in Little Things.
Shopify is not the seller of our products and is not responsible for the content of our letters, order fulfillment, product quality, shipping, customer service, or any dispute between you and Beauty in Little Things.
SECTION 14 - PRIVACY
Personal information collected through the website is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy is available at /policies/privacy-policy.
Because our store is hosted by Shopify, Shopify and other service providers may process information as needed to operate the website, process payments, manage subscriptions, prevent fraud, provide customer accounts, and fulfill orders.
SECTION 15 - COMMUNICATIONS
By providing an email address during checkout, you agree to receive transactional communications related to your order, payment, subscription, delivery, or customer account.
Marketing emails are sent only as permitted by law and may be unsubscribed from using the link included in the message.
Unsubscribing from marketing messages does not prevent necessary order or subscription communications.
SECTION 16 - FEEDBACK AND SUBMISSIONS
If you voluntarily send us feedback, suggestions, reviews, photographs, testimonials, or other content, you represent that you have the right to provide it.
We will not publicly use a private message, personal health story, photograph, or testimonial for marketing without permission.
Product reviews submitted through a public review feature may be displayed according to the disclosures presented when the review is submitted.
SECTION 17 - ERRORS AND CORRECTIONS
Occasionally, the website may contain typographical errors, inaccurate information, or omissions involving product descriptions, prices, promotions, mailing dates, availability, or other details.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel an affected order. If we cancel a paid order because of our error, we will issue an appropriate refund.

Our total liability for a claim related to a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to that claim, except where a different remedy is required by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
SECTION 21 - INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Beauty in Little Things and its service providers from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal expenses arising from your unlawful use of the website, violation of these Terms, infringement of another person’s rights, or content you submit through the website.
SECTION 22 - TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate access to the website or services if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the website, engage in fraud, threaten others, or interfere with our operations.
Termination does not eliminate obligations that arose before termination, including amounts properly owed.
Provisions that reasonably should continue after termination will remain in effect, including provisions involving intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, and governing law.
SECTION 23 - SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted by law or severed if necessary.
The remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce it later.
These Terms, together with the policies posted on this website, constitute the agreement between you and Beauty in Little Things concerning use of the website and purchase of our products.

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent.
We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a sale, reorganization, transfer of the business, or change in service providers, subject to applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute will be handled in a court with appropriate jurisdiction in Florida, unless applicable law requires another location or process.
